For2024, our engineering team designed an all new, updated Gen 6 Whippletwin-screw supercharger. While the Gen 5 pushed vehicles to incrediblepower gains, the Gen 6 goes beyond this with the all new Whipple G6rotor profile and redesigned inlet port for improved airflow capacity.The system features the inverted supercharger, which nestles thesupercharger in the valley of the block. The air goes through themassive patented dual pass dual intercoolers for industry leadingthermal efficiency, then down through the intercoolers again, then downthe runners for mind blowing performance. Not to be confused with dualintercoolers, the Whipple design uses each intercoolerTWICE, allowingincredible thermal efficiency not offered with any other SC system.Couple that patented system with the industry's largest, dual pass heatexchanger and high flow intercooler pump, you have incomparabletemperature control.

The key to making such incredible reliable power is in theWhipple unique twin screw supercharger, massive air-to-waterintercooler, oversized Crusher air system and innovative PCMprogramming that keeps the power-train safe and secure. Power fromtip in to redline, the new Whipple SC system makes incredible poweracross the entire rpm range while maintaining industry leadingdrive-ability. Each Whipple system comes with the new Whipple flashtool which allows each customer to load the calibration into the PCM,read and erase codes and the ability to customize wheel/axle sizes.
Withyears of OEM and racing experience, Whipple engineers have developed aunique PCM calibration using special supercharger based software (aWhipple exclusive) that reconfigures all the necessary engine functionsincluding fuel, spark, knock detection, torque management, transmissioncontrol and electronic throttle control. The vehicles PCM constantlymonitors the engines torque output while monitoring many differentparameters to keep the engine in its ideal parameters. If a parameterfalls below specification, the PCM will lower boost and torque outputuntil the problem can be cured. No other calibration in the field hassuch technology, giving the Whipple SC system unheralded performanceand reliability.
Today'sF150's are speed density based and coupled to a new advanced 10-speedtransmission, nearly impossible to calibrate with aftermarket tools.Whipple, with its proprietary software adds a 3-bar map sensor tomeasure manifold pressure under boost, along with an air temp sensor toproperly vary spark advance at all different rpm points. The 10-speedtransmission is recalibrated to keep the engine in its peak torquerange at nearly all RPM points along with keeping the off road, tow,eco and sport modes available so the user keeps all available options.
